Budtenders/Cashiers
Budtenders are an important part of the client experience. From the moment a client enters the store they should feel welcome. An ideal Budtender does not wait for the client to approach them but instead takes the initiative to greet each guest and offer assistance. The best candidate for this position is friendly, approachable, has strong communication skills, is knowledgeable about the products and able to adapt well to working other positions within the store.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Budtenders are responsible for welcoming and greeting customers as they arrive in the store
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Knowledgeable about new products and strains of cannabis, changes in laws and industry trends in order to provide the best service to customers
- Ability to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently via cash, debit, and credit card
- Process online orders
- Maintain hygienic conditions at the front of the house
- Provide recommendations on cannabis products based on customer requests
- Ensure accurate product scanning
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members
Qualifications
- Criminal Background Check
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Flexible availability
- Knowledgeable about cannabis
- Passionate about cannabis and normalizing its use
- Strong attention to detail
- Pass provincial training course
- High School Diploma
- Reliable
- Trust-worthy
- Customer service experience is an asset
