Whenever I have a problem that’s easily solved the managers give stupid excuses as to why they can’t help. I just left the store, hoping to exchange store credits for a defective battery. The manager said there is nothing she can do because it “seems like I bought it over a month ago”. Even though it’s brand new without a scratch, and it’s not working. This is the fourth time I’ve gotten cheap, easily broken accessories from there and I will no longer be recommending this place to anyone. I’ve been a member since they first opened and it’s only been going down hill since. Anothy and the other woman manager need to be fired. First their workers go on strike for wage theft and now this…
I had an incredibly disrespectful and frustrating experience at Ascend Cannabis Dispensary – Boston on 02/14/25 at 4:25 PM. The man checking IDs was rude, insulting, and completely unprofessional. Despite the fact that my Department of Defense Disabled Veterans ID is clearly listed as an acceptable form of identification, he attempted to deny it, acting as if he had the authority to override official policy.
Not only was this insulting, but his tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. I served this country, and being disrespected like that at the door of a business is unacceptable. After complaining to one of the managers, they at least acknowledged the mistake and offered me a discount (which I didn’t ask for), but honestly, the damage was already done.
This dispensary seriously needs to train their staff on professionalism and respect. I won’t be returning. Veterans deserve better.

These guys I’m pretty pleased with. Shout out to the store manager, short hair, my apologies i forgot her name, but super kind, & let me say I am knowledgeable enough from seedling to sales to confirm she knew what she was talking about which is nice. Also shout out to Rachelle who has “dealt” with me twice. I say dealt because I’m not necessarily in a rush on days I’m picking up. I shop. She understand. Very comforting, Very cool. Definitely an asset to the Ascend brand. Great spot if you’re not so sure or want to shop around. If your kinda new, or maybe your a baby boomer who hasn’t smoked in a while and you want to really browse, not feel rushed, this is the spot: You may find cheaper depending on your flavor, but the combination of KIOSK browsing/ordering and the friendliest staff I have witnessed is pretty genius, 100% I promise you this is that spot. Out of the two places I shop minimum every 2 weeks Ascend has the best in store experience. 100%
P.S If you’re reading this close to the time of this posting, the Mandarin I show in the photo is Excellent. OMG superb. Lights up your senses with taste and smell before slowing your world down a gear. A++ top shelf
This place is unprofessional! Their Manager Aria or Ariel needs customer service training and has a very horrible attitude! The prices change on you in a matter of minutes and the managers do nothing to assist with THEIR mistake. The burden should never be on the customer when it’s the establishment’s prices that changed suddenly! You should never make price changes to a product throughtout the work day. They should be made when the store is closed and not in operation.
I sent a complaint to corporate and never heard back from them either!
