Ascend Dispensary – Cincinnati

Been here about 2 times now and each time the workers have been super nice, and the quality good! People complain about prices and, understandable. Taxes suck but, I’d rather pay a little more and know my stuff is medical grade quality. I also don’t think the taxes in Ohio are bad, especially compared to Illinois! The quality could be better but, for a quick dispensary trip, it’s great. I stop by here whenever I’m traveling through for trips, and it’s always in and out, a very quick process. You order through machine, which again, I understand why some people don’t like that, but I prefer it this way for safety reasons.
Location is near downtown, there is a big parking lot across the street, with 30 minute free parking for all ascend shoppers. Nearby down there is a super cute cable car, and a historical market. Great tourist stop! I highly suggest to grab a vape, they’re not super potent, but it’s nice to be able to smoke discretely everywhere. No prerolls or shake yet, only 1/8s. Grab your stuff and throw your bag in the trash like all the other satisfied customers 💨🍃

I wish I could say “great service” like many others here. I find it pretty distasteful to have tip jars at every register when no service is being provided. No one assisted with our purchases, the guy who logs into the self-serve kiosks found out it was our first time there and didn’t even remember to tell us some of the controls on the screen were broken until we were almost done with our transactions. My friend gave $65 cash and was going to do the rest on card—the cashier only put $62 cash in and gave $3 cash back which confused my friend. He automatically put it in the tip jar and then realized going home that’s probably why he was given cash back, because there would be no other reason when he had to put the rest on his card. The guy who rang me up was barely paying attention and nearly didn’t give my ID back at the end, I had to reach around to get it myself.

Also, they do not make it clear online that points can only be used for accessories which isn’t a huge deal but is annoying. Just gave the impression overall that (at least this location) only cares about money and not providing any sort of incentive to customers to come back.

Placed a pick up order for this location, was in and out within 5 minutes. Very clean store. Employees were very friendly. Parking was very easy (lot across the street with designated parking). My pick up order was ready when I got there, and the products I got were absolutely wonderful at decent prices. Will definitely make a trip back here!!
