I visited AYR recently to purchase a product, and my experience was extremely disappointing. When the clerk rang up my purchase, the transaction went through, but they were not paying attention and processed the payment a second time—despite me pointing out that it looked like the first transaction had worked. As a result, I was charged twice, totaling $180.
When I noticed the double charge and brought it to their attention, I expected a straightforward refund since this was their mistake. Instead, I was met with excuses and told they could not provide a refund. The only option they offered was store credit. This feels incredibly unfair and dishonest. A business should never hold a customer’s money hostage for their own error.
What if this had been all the money in my bank account? Their lack of accountability could have left me without funds for basic needs. I’m genuinely shocked at their unwillingness to resolve this properly and restore my trust.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you value your hard-earned money, stay far away from this place. A dispensary that prioritizes their mistake over a customer’s well-being is not one you can rely on.
watch out for the point system!! i was told that i could purchase a device using my points, after spending quite a bit of money with this company and location (lake worth) just to make sure i had enough points. when i came in after having a couple of issues with the amount of points i had and waiting 20 minutes, i was told that i had to come back in the next day, a day after the point system is to be changed. they said they were going to honor my points. so let’s see!
i was so stoked with this location, now just disappointed. i apologize for my grammar, i’m just bummed.
wild. so after i was told that my points are not going to expire by a manager!, i still come in on the day that they were suppose to be expired and thank god i did because i was told that they are going to expire. upon buying more items than i needed to insure that i could use their point system, i was told that the points didn’t load and that i need to come back again. a second time. i wouldn’t mind this had literally anyone in this dispensary told me that and if i didn’t move my whole morning around. then even more awesome, ha, was the way i was talked to thereafter. i came in when they asked and did exactly what they told me and i was told that “ i don’t know about your points” and that “ i don’t know what to tell you” this coming after being told “don’t worry, we will honor your points and i put a note it to take care of you when you come in” there is a little more to the story but i’m over it man. i just don’t understand how you could treat someone like a stranger after seeing them at least 1-2x a week for the past few months. then being told “don’t come in here and yell at me because i don’t know” by an employee kind of sucks. it would be cool if employees were trained to know their jobs. just please be careful with this spot, and as i was dealing with this, there was another gentleman who was being treated improperly as well.
best bit, so on the third attempt at redeeming these awesome points lol, the same girl that told me i was ok and that the points were “not going to expire on the 31st” stood right there and watched me try to explain myself and instead of saying sorry kev that was my mistake for saying so and inform her fellow co worker of my experience. she just sat and watched me feel like an idiot. i then called back to try and get more information before i came in, again, and the same individual tells me that she doesn’t need a reiteration my my experience. haha, not the nicest response. please, do yourselves a favor and check the trueilve right across the street.
to make this experience even more awesome after all of this, i was still told that i was behind in points like wtf!
i was still told, by the manager (Wyatt) that i only made 2 purchases in january. attached below are my “2” purchases in january.

Customer service was great! The store was clean. The prices are comparable to other shops. There is no first time shopper specials. I did inquire, the discounts offered are not applicable to any discounts or specials advertised. For example, if something is on sale for 2/$35 and you have a percentage off your first order, you can not apply the percentage off coupon. I knew this before I paid, I accepted that. I found the selection of higher potency flower very limited. The highest THC percentage was 23%. There was no high Terpene percentage in the selection. I still selected some flower. I was extremely disappointed with the flower I received. It was quite leafy and poorly trimmed. The taste was subpar as well. I will not be back. Again, the staff was wonderful! The quality of the flower was not. It’s unfortunate that quality of the product was so poor as I would have visited again. I also want to note that I added on an additional 8th to the 2/$35 special. The add on is advertised at $15. I was charged $20.
This location is amazing, I drive out of my way to come to this location because of workers like Taylor and Tati, they talked me to and explained and answered all my questions. Everyone that works here is so nice and welcoming . Thank you guys!
