Normally a wonderful place especially the online order window. Today was awful. No one in the damn store but one old guy and his wife and 4 cashiers. The guy at the window took my license told me it would be just a second then proceeded to have a personal conversation witha coworker for 10 minutes. Then finally got back to me said sorry about the wait then gave me an attitude when I asked to use my points . I had $60 in points. Sorry I asked to use money that I earned. I normally tip my butt tenders quite well usually $10-$20. I left nothing because this guy gave me such an attitude I don’t know if I’ll ever come back.
This was my first time to visit the North Kansas City location of Besame. I live in Liberty, Missouri, and usually use the Besame dispensary here.
However, due to a power outage, at my home location, I decided to drive 20 minutes away, to the North Kansas City Besame location.
As I suspected, it was an amazing store, with an amazing culture!
I have commented before about the culture of Besame. It is always top-notch. That’s because great customer service culture starts at the top and migrates all the way down.
The overall Besame culture, is excellent!
Their awesome culture is obviously foundational. However, It’s very apparent, from the two Besame locations that I’ve visited: Liberty and North Kansas City, That those general managers show “Blue Ribbon Excellence,” in how they run their operations. They were warm, courteous, and professional.
As a retired Operations Manager of a large airport parking organization, I understand the importance of great culture, in a customer service business.
Everyone that I met at the North Kansas City location made me feel right at home. They made me feel like they’ve always known me. And they also did a little something extra for me, for the inconvenience, of having to drive all the way down to their location, during this bad weather power outage, at my home Besame dispensary.
Great job North Kansas City Besame. You guys ROCK!

BUYERS BEWARE:
my order was $34 after taxes and they rang me up at $43, saying the ATM “fee was refundable”. I got $6 back in cash. And then got charged a $2.50 ATM processing fee. $11.50 total for ATM fees?
I’m not confident the budtender didn’t just give himself a tip, because I never actually saw the screen to approve the transaction.
Everyone here was high out of their minds. I brought in what I use nightly for sleep, which they were out of. They couldn’t give me any recommendations. I ended up finding something comparable on their website on my own.
Not knowledgeable or trustworthy people.
If you go here, I would only pay cash.

Thought this was going to be the dispensary that didn’t suck. Bought a bunch of eighths of different stuff. All pretty good. Go back and buy 5 eighths of the strain I liked the most. Ive opened 3 of them so far. None of the good flavor of the same strain I bought just the day before. This happens every time l try to buy any amount of a single strain. Do they pull it from somewhere else? How was the 1st one so pungent and good and the rest have none of that goodness?
Where can I but consistently good flowers here? Because this rec market flower is highly inconsistent. I miss medical grade flowers. The market has been deregulated into run and gun shit.
