As a new customer who is both new to CBD and of the store, I got two lemon tinctures during a September sale. Upon using a few days later, it burned my throat upon swallowing. I thought something was wrong with the product so I had a family member try it, and it burned their throat, too. The receipt says no returns or exchanges, so I went in to see if there was any way around that given the product burned when it shouldn’t. All I wanted was a different flavor; I did not want to return–just a different flavor that didn’t burn. They told me that there’s a 3-day return/exchange policy and would not let me trade it in for a different flavor.
I thought this was strange because the receipt has a different return/exchange rule. A few days later I tried again (spoke to manager) and it was still a solid no.
This is very disappointing and disheartening, especially to new clients who do not know the 3-day return policy. The receipt states something different; If I had known, I would have tested the product sooner in case there was an issue.
As someone who has worked in retail for many years, if a person buys a product ($100 for a small bottle, at that) and feels there is something wrong, (It burns when it shouldn’t making it unusable) it should be handled much differently than how this situation was handled. There should also not be two different return/exchange policies. Most customers are also going to look at their receipt and take that as fact, like I did. This whole situation has many red flags.

I will take my business elsewhere.

Jesse was extremely friendly and even more knowledgeable about every single product in the store. He was quick to recommend items and explain them thoroughly. Store was clean and organized and had a wide range of goods. Really impressed with the business!
