I’m a beginner, and the owner was very friendly and generously guided me through the weeds that the store has. I would recommend tourists to come here because they really welcome you. Also, the store is bright, clean, and highly decorated with an easy to understand menu. So you can feel safe here.

Coming here was kinda funny at first because it felt like going into a prison if the prison was inside a scary warehouse. There also weren’t too many options. In my case, there was a single strand of concentrates. Overall it was a fairly meh experience. The only reason I went back was because this place topped my experience for shadiest establishments and I thought it would be funny to show my partner. However, they’re disabled and need a service dog. I didn’t think this would be an issue but apparently this establishment just doesn’t care. We tried to explain service dog laws because obviously we need the dog WITH my fiancee so he can do his services. They didn’t care. So if you have service animals, they don’t care. If you’re blind, you’ve got paperwork, or a heart condition, any reason they don’t care. It’s illegal, they don’t care. Don’t go here. It’s not worth it. You’re gonna be met with a battle. It’s shady outside. It’s shady inside.

    Discriminates against service dogs
I walk in they say I can’t have my service dog who cannot be separated from me even momentarily in case he needs to signal me.
I say he’s a service dog they say he can’t come in I say yes he can he is a service dog they say then go somewhere else.
I say um please get your boss, the ADA is federal law, you have to let me in.
    I’m told to leave again.
I refuse to leave, so another person comes out and tries to tell me to leave because of my service dog.
I explain to the second guy that this is a service dog and I cannot be separated from him and he holds the door open and tells me to get out.
I begin explaining the Americans with Disabilities Act to this second guy who argues in circles with me about how they can deny service for any reason and I explain that you can’t deny service on a basis of disability aids.
After refusing to leave and calling non emergency finally a third guy comes out willing to talk and be reasonable meanwhile random unrelated people are yelling at me fiance In his wheelchair because they don’t know federal laws either we finally get them to leave and this guy explains to me that if I’ll call off the police they’ll let us in and that they usually only have a problem with it if it’s a large service dog.
I pull up the ADA on my phone and explain to this guy that even if it’s a German Shepard, service dogs cannot be denied entry into businesses.
As much as I appreciate how wonderful the third guy was, this whole place just seems to be ready to die on the hill that denying access on the basis of a disabled individual needing to bring medical equipment into the store with them is acceptable.
The report has been made to the police and the city.
This is a warning that if you’re disabled and require a service animal to just save yourself the headache of being blatantly and shamelessly discriminated against while you explain federal discrimination laws and get ignored.
