Had a pretty dreadful and awful experience here the other day. They had a strain that I was VERY excited about trying (Apples & Bananas from Billo), so I went out of my way to come here and get an ounce of it. When I got there and smelled it, it didn’t smell *quite* the way the strain really ought to, but I thought maybe it was just the place or me being stuffed up – even so, I opted for just half an ounce to be on the safe side. I specifically asked the budtender if I could choose from various other strains on the same pricing tier, and still get the same “1 ounce” rate, rather than paying for four different individual eighths in addition to my half-ounce of one specific strain. He assured me that this was absolutely the case and would be totally fine, so I made my choices and tuned out while he did his thing.
When he rang me up, it seemed way more expensive than it ought to have been, which was when I noticed that I *had* been charged for extremely expensive individual eighths that I would never have otherwise purchased, but I sighed and rather than get in an argument just asked him to get rid of one of the eighths. So I had limited myself to a much smaller selection of strains, purchasing cannabis I would not have otherwise because the employee either was clueless about how his dispensary was supposed to price things and ripped me off, or because he lied to me about the pricing, or he just wasn’t paying attention to what I was asking.
Very unpleasant, unprofessional, and painful to my wallet, but I would have let it slide if there weren’t…. Further errors. When I got home and looked at what I bought, I found that only ONE of the eighths I had purchased had actually been labeled -the others were just blank pop-tops, and I had absolutely no clue which strain was which – this is something that has actually *never* happened before once until now in over 5 years of shopping at dispensaries in Colorado. Deeply annoying, especially to someone like me who wants to know the strain he is smoking.
This wasn’t even the end of the tragedy, though. I had gone there for this one specific strain that I loved, and when I got home I found that the version of this strain they carried (from Billo) tasted and smelled and felt absolutely nothing like the 14 or 15 other versions of the strains I had tried from other growers, which were all consistent in the terp profile and appearance while varying in quality. This stuff was just something else that the grower had apparently called “Apples & Bananas” to get suckers like me who loved that strain to buy, as far as I can tell. This actually upset me more than all the other issues combined, even though it’s not something I fault the budtender for – the onus for that error lies on the grower (Billo) and whomever does the buying at Fresh Baked.
All in all, it was a truly dreadful experience and I currently have no intention of returning. Shocking experience, actually.
Just looking at their menu, I can tell that these guys are WAAAAY over-priced. I can get the same quality and brands for so much cheaper at so many more places. This dispensary is just being greedy and they will probably price themselves out of business within the year. I also get the feeling that a lot of their ‘5-star’ reviews are fake. Hey, Fresh Baked: it doesn’t count if you bribe or buy your reviews out of people!
Bud tender with the accent ( sorry don’t remember his name) hooked it and spoke like an old weed G that’s knows his stuff. Went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. O yeah the herb is FIRE! Illusion berries! Holy marry
This dispensary is my absolute favorite! The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. They offer a diverse selection of products at reasonable prices. What makes it even better is their rewards program, which has the potential to save you money on your next purchase. It’s definitely deserving of an A+ rating.
Clean, organized store with friendly, knowledgeable staff (Coco was awesome). It’s a comfortable relaxed environment.
All prices are tax included so you can easily accomodate to your budget.
Nice variety or strains, pods, wax, and edibles. Smoking accessories available too.
