Bought a cart that ended up being defective. They replaced the cart with a new of the same strain, and the replacement proceeded to fail in the same way. They were willing to offer me the same unreliable cart, but were unwilling to remedy the situation in a more satisfactory manor. Ended up just getting a refund and going up the road instead.
I used to love shopping here but given the recent lawsuit against the city of Newton I can no longer do so in good conscience. A community impact fee was agreed upon as part of the cost of doing business and trying to renege on a settled deal is unfair. I would encourage newtonites to look elsewhere (for instance the green lady in Newton center which has a comparable selection of edibles)
I am writing in response to Batman’s review above . Before you go boycotting them over the lawsuit you should try to understand what’s going on in this industry. The bureaucracy and state tax is crushing these businesses. A lot of grow operations and dispensaries are going out of business because the margin is no longer there, but the red tape and expenses remain. A pound used to wholesale for about $3200 and it’s now less than $800. The cost of their staff, fees, security, rent, utilities, and especially tax, have not decreased, however. Same can be said for this deal they had with the city of Newton, which is nothing short of a shakedown to do business. Significant investments were made to start these businesses and a lot of them will not be recouped. This is going to lead to significant consolidation, which is a shame because the money will end up in fewer hands, and the sharks are circling the water buying up struggling businesses for pennies on the dollar. People are going out of work and the state and towns need to wake up and realize that they are ruining a promising business sector.
They recently DOUBLED their price on their rosin vapes. it was the ONLY reason why I shopped with them. I will not be returning, which is sad because they are only a half mile away from my house. I’d rather travel to Watertown for my medication… no one is paying $30 minimum for an 8th of weed. I’m actually shocked they are still in business!
One of my favorite dispensaries. Wish it was closer. Please come to Cape Cod🤞. Store is clean, bright, and nicely organized, with helpful budtenders. I always feel welcomed when I visit. Good deals too for medical. Thank you!
