I’ve been shorted on weight both times I’ve shoppe at Key. I have bought two so-called “eighths” from this dispensary and each time the weight on my scale (which measures down to 100th of a gram) came in at 3.40- should be 3.50
Prepackaged, brand name Roots.
Prepackaged sucks for this very reason. If there is an error it should be in the favor of the customer. If Key dispensary orders them prepackaged and all of the eighths weigh 3.4g they’re losing about an oz per lb and a pound every 16 lbs.
The people that work there are all down to earth and pretty cool, so I gave two stars just for the staff.
In Oregon and California you can buy flower by the gram at many dispensaries, and you’ll never get shorted- more likely to walk out with an extra 0.5g+ per strain that you purchase.
As someone whose been growing cannabis off and on for more than half my life and have worked on medical farms in the Emerald Triangle (Nor-Cal), and who always sold fat bags I have to say that shorting bags, especially eighths, is super low class.

(Update) This is the best dispensary in Kirksville. On my birthday these guys were the only ones to give me ten dollars store credit and didn’t require a minimum purchase. I literally went there and got an infused preroll for one penny because they also waved the taxes. If you want the best service; you’re cheating yourself if you don’t go to this dispensary. Two massive thumbs up!
