I have walked into Rise Bethesda several times and gotten consistently good, friendly service. Today was my first online order (all 30% off products!) and delivery. Greg confirmed all my info over the phone, followed directions exactly and arrived right on time. He’s polite, helpful and knowledgeable, and delivery was easy-peasy! Rise hasn’t been my “home dispensary,” for the last few years, but with excellent service and free delivery (since my order was over $75), I’m officially making the change!
I had an issue with my card and they didn’t even check to see what had happened they just immediately shut me down and said that’s never happened before so it didn’t happen and wouldn’t look into the problem. The cashier had tried to redo my card since the reader didn’t read it the first time and when she tried it she explained that they have a code they enter to help when that happened. She entered it and the card reader read it, and flashed the total then the printer had printed out a receipt. I hadn’t entered my pin or saw a total before I had touched anything. The total was verbally told but i usually also look at the card reader to confirm which I didn’t get the opportunity to do. I understand the total, and that the payment I used couldn’t offer me a refund. They didn’t check there system and didn’t offer anything or to look into the issue. They said well it’s never happened before and shrugged it off. They didn’t hand me my bag they just stood there after they handed me my cash. I really liked this place but customer service was dismissive so It wasn’t the best experience. The people weren’t rude but the lack of effort was disappointing.
I was looking for a specific product and not only did they have it but Elvin and Anya were more than accommodating and insightful for what to look for. They took great care to make me feel welcomed and exceed my expectations. It’s my favorite dispensary and the store has a very cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back
Rise Bethesda location is hands down by far the top notch place! Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff! Anya answered my questions and shared helpful insight! Anya, Jess and Joe are an amazing group. I was impressed by their teamwork, helping each other and their workflow and atmosphere was smooth as fluid! Awesome job guys, see ya soon! 🏆🏆
It was my first time coming here. I found staff not friendly. I had questions and finally got some to help only to find out it was CASH OR DEBIT only. They then said try the credit card in the atm but if it didnt work theyd ask me to leave… Kinda rude and harsh. I was going to try to get my Apple pay with my debit card working for that to be immediately shut down. Never had this kind of oddly hostile and negative experience. I understand the payment at the store is what it is but clearly i didnt know and it was my first time.
