Most insulting visit today. I truly hope managers pay attention to these reviews and perhaps puts names into their system to see just how loyal of customers they lose. Served every 2nd day for the past 2 years by the same employees. Been in the system since. The employees know my number by heart now when I check out because I’m always here supporting this business. Today I was stopped at the door and refused service unless I had ID. I truly thought this was a joke at first. I’m looking at the employer who serves me all the time and knows we have the same birth year and we are both 33 years old. They were dead serious! So, I will not be returning to this store and will never support this business again. Thousands a year I sink into this store and this is how I’m treated today out the absolute blue. I will no longer do any free advertising for this store, I will no longer refer individuals to this store, and I will absolutely be bringing my business elsewhere. That was absolutely uncalled for and in no way an acceptable way to treat the customers you actually know.
My Experience with Sessions Cannabis Management and Staff
I started working at Sessions Cannabis at the end of July, and from the very first day, I noticed the store was quieter than I was used to. My initial impression of the work environment was that it was slow-paced, but what truly stood out to me was the way I was made to feel by the management and staff.
From my first shift with one of the supervisors, I got a sense that I wasn’t welcome. There was a constant feeling that they didn’t like me, based on the way they would stare at me, almost as if they were suspicious of me. I tried to stay reserved, only engaging in conversation when someone else initiated it. Despite this, I never felt comfortable at work. The atmosphere made me so anxious that I would cry right before my shifts and even during breaks, feeling completely left out.
The hardest part for me was when I went through an extremely rough week at home, both legally and medically. If any of the other staff had gone through what I did, they would’ve taken time off work. When I visited the store to make a purchase a few days ago, I noticed how fake the interactions were. The manager greeted me with a smile, but when I asked to speak with her over the phone about why I was fired without any notice, her tone shifted. She was rude and defensive, which confused me—shouldn’t I be the one upset about losing my job?
I struggle with mental health issues, and I tried to explain my situation to them. However, they showed no sympathy or understanding. What bothered me even more is that them as whole staff group can have life interferences, mental illnesses and struggles addictions, and are treated with leniency and acceptance. It felt as though they had singled me out, and that hurt deeply.
Out of all of the cannabis dispensaries in Sudbury, this is easily my favorite. The staff are always friendly enough, and I can’t wait to get home and smoke my favorite strains again—the weed in Brazil sucks. LOL

Every time I go they are patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. I always leave confident they have helped me choose the perfect product. I never feel like a nuisance(I always have a question 😳)and on more than one occasion have really gone above and beyond(thank you for the App help today! Lol)
This store is further away for me but I would drive through rush hour traffic at the start of a long weekend just for their customer service and their product!
